Terms & Conditions
Effective from 26 May 2025
These terms govern membership of Akhil Bhartiya Bishnoi Mahasabha (“the Mahasabha”), a society registered under the Societies Registration Act — Registered No. 242/1-1292, Act 21 of 1860, dated 22 April 1936 — and the use of this website.
By taking membership, making a donation, or using this website, you accept these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of them.
1.Eligibility
Membership of the Mahasabha is open to persons of the Bishnoi samaj who have completed 18 years of age. No person below that age is enrolled, and no membership may be taken on behalf of a minor.
Membership is not open for self-registration. Every enrolment is made by an authorised office-bearer of the Mahasabha, on the particulars supplied by the person seeking membership. The office-bearer making an enrolment is responsible for having that person’s consent and for recording their particulars correctly.
2.Registration and accuracy of information
At the time of enrolment you confirm, through the office-bearer recording your particulars, that all the information supplied is accurate, truthful and consistent with your official documents. This declaration is shown on the payment screen, in Hindi and English, and must be accepted before payment.
If any information is later found to be incorrect, the Mahasabha may take corrective action and the membership may be rejected. As set out in the Refund Policy, a donation is not returned in that event.
Registering the same person more than once is not permitted. The Mahasabha may merge or cancel duplicate records.
3.Membership donation
Membership is obtained by making a donation to the trust: ₹10 for five-year membership, or ₹100 for lifetime membership.
Membership is created only once the payment has been confirmed by the payment gateway. A registration that is begun but not paid for does not create a membership.
All donations are final and non-refundable. The Refund Policy sets this out in full, including what happens if a payment fails or is debited twice.
4.Your membership ID and access
On successful registration you are issued a membership ID. Signing in to this website requires a one-time password sent to your registered mobile number — there is no password to set or remember.
You are responsible for keeping access to your registered mobile number secure, and for anything done through your membership. If your number changes, or if you believe someone else has used your membership, tell the Mahasabha office promptly.
Office-bearers are given access to member records limited to their own state, district or gram ikai. That access is granted for the duties of the post and must not be used for any other purpose.
5.Rejection, correction and suspension
The Mahasabha may reject an application, correct a record, or suspend or cancel a membership where:
- the information given is found to be incorrect or does not match official documents;
- the same person has been registered more than once;
- a payment is reversed, charged back or not received; or
- this website or a membership is used in a way these terms do not permit.
Where a record has been flagged for review, access to parts of this website may be restricted until the matter is settled.
6.Using this website
You may use this website only for lawful purposes connected with your own membership or with a post you hold in the Mahasabha. You must not:
- register false, fictitious or duplicate members;
- attempt to gain access to records, accounts or areas you have not been given access to;
- collect, copy or extract member data in bulk, whether by automated means or otherwise, except where you are downloading a list or roll the website itself offers you; or
- interfere with the working of the website or the services it depends on.
7.Information published on this website
Some information is published openly, including the names, roles and mobile numbers of prabharis and other office-bearers, and the gram-ikai wise voter rolls for the Mahasabha’s internal elections, which can be downloaded as a PDF. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is visible publicly.
Membership lists and other documents downloaded from this website are provided for the purposes of the Mahasabha’s work. They must not be republished, sold, or used for canvassing or marketing.
The devotional texts, historical accounts, photographs, emblems and other material on this website belong to the Mahasabha or are published with permission. They may be read and shared for personal and religious purposes, but not used commercially.
8.Accuracy and availability
The Mahasabha takes care that the information on this website is correct, but does not warrant that it is complete or free from error. Membership records depend on what was supplied at registration.
This website is provided on an “as available” basis. It may be unavailable at times for maintenance, or because of a failure at a service it depends on, such as the payment gateway or the SMS provider.
9.Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Mahasabha is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website, from a delay or failure in a third-party service, or from information supplied to us that turns out to be incorrect.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10.Changes to these terms
The Mahasabha may update these terms. The date shown at the top of this page is the date the current version took effect, and any revision applies from the date it is published here. Continuing to use this website after that date means you accept the revised terms.
11.Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bikaner, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them or out of the use of this website.
